Harrah's Cherokee Casino offers a variety of activities for families including bowling, arcade, amazing restaurants, and concerts or shows (check for age limit for these two things). Harrah's also offers a variety of activities for adults including 160+ table games, 3,000 slot machines, 150,000 sq. FT. of casino floor, and (21+) concerts/shows.

Nantahala Outdoor Center is a great place to take your family or just to go relax. They provide a plethora of activities including white water rafting, zip-lining, kayaking, and a variety of outdoor courses.

Clingmans Dome is a beautiful trail/view with a short walk of only 0.5 miles to the top. But keep in mind the trail is paved but is very steep in some areas, so depending on your limits it might be a little tough for some visitors.

This hike is about 1.7miles round trip with a fantastic view at the top, and even an amazing view from both directions in the parking lot as well. A giftshop is also located on the far side of the lot if you would like to get a Great Smokey Mountains souvenir. To the right of the giftshop you will find the base of the trailhead if you choose to hike. It also provides multiple picnic tables that are easy to access for all guest. The trail itself is uphill the whole way to the top, though it isnt difficult if you take your time on the way up. (This hike is rated as moderate)

Road to Waterrock KnobThis hike is about 1.7miles round trip with a fantastic view at the top, and even an amazing view from both directions in the parking lot as well. You can purchase anything from locally made canned jams, salsas, soups, etc. During the fall they also have hayrides, a huge corn maze, and seasonal home made frozen yogurt that is my absolute favorite! They are open all year around and offer different things depending on the season.

Kostas is a family owned authentic Greek restaurant with some of the best gyros and home-made greek dressing. The restaurant is an "order at the counter" style, where a server will bring your food to the table when it is ready. It is personally one of my favorite places in Sylva to eat so I highly recommend trying it out!

Inno provides around 30 on tap beer options to choose from, including a few bottled and canned options as well. It is also located in the same area as Haywood Smokehouse, Foragers Canteen, and Rivers&Rails. All are fantastic option to grab a bite to eat before you have some fun at the brewery. Check out their page for events going on while you are here!

The market provides around 200 booths with vendors selling anything from yard-sale type items, home made items, and even some brand name overstock items. The market is covered and open year around rain or shine! If you like to bargain, this is the place for you!

The market is covered and open year around rain or shine! If you like to bargain, this is the place for you!
