My favourite places to swim.
The ocean is 12 minutes from our house. This water is the warmest North of The Carolina’s. When the tide is out, the red sand beaches and sand bars go on forever! You have to walk over this beautiful beach to get to the water. Most beaches are dog friendly.
Pack a picnic lunch or just grab a snack, there’s nothing like enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean as you sit and relax. For swimming, there is no better place. The water is so warm in the Northumberland Strait, everyone will want to get their feet wet.
