Traverse City is a beach front community in Northern Michigan, sitting on two deep bays separated by the Old Mission peninsula. Traverse City is surrounded by rolling hills, forests and inland lakes (such as Duck Lake!). The region is known for its fruit orchards, especially tart cherries. Traverse City has great restaurants, many local breweries and distilleries, and a number of exceptional wineries.
We love to walk around the downtown, on Front and State street, as well as around the Boardman river.
