The Teviot Brook borders the property on the northern side and is just 100 meters from the homestead. Best access is gained from the property itself. The Teviot Brook rises in the Main Range at Carneys Creek and joins the Logan River at Cedar Grove and is part of the Clarence Moreton Basin. The Teviot Brook passes through the town of Boonah and Mt Alford and flows into the Wyaralong Dam between Allenview and Wyaralong at the southern end of the Flinders Peak Group. It was named on 6 August 1828 by Allan Cunningham, a botanist and explorer, after the River Teviot, Roxburghshire, Scotland. A plaque commemorating the naming is found at Coulson School in Coulson.

Drawing inspiration from Boonah’s original name, ‘Blumbergville’, Blume Restaurant is a space where Scenic Rim visitors and the local community can come together and have a truly unique experience. With a menu based on the principle of ‘time and place’, they only serve produce from local suppliers - not because it is trendy, but simply because it is the way it should be. A destination dining experience needs to be memorable. Its focus is not only on the food and wine, but also a personal and unforgettable guest experience.
