This is the closet coffee shop and they have great breakfast sandwiches and a few pastries. The coffee is good but I prefer Ipsentos

Walking distance and a great scene. This is the only Costa Rican restaurant in the city. The food is a bit like Mexican but not. One of my favorite BYOB spots. Grab a bottle at Red and White across the street

It can get really crowded but in the mornings they do family swim and it is pretty open. Behind the pool you will see a playground suited for kids up to age 10 or so.
