Aonther very nice walk in the neighbourhood is around the lake Sagtjernet. There is a nice path along the lake. The lake is also very nice to swim in - you can swim from one side to the other also. On one side there is a small kiosk where you can buy ice and snacks on warm days.

Very nice to walk by the river Glomma. There is a path/cycle road or walking road by the river from Central Elverum towards Skogmusset (museum of Forestry). From the museum there is a path with two bridges towards Glomdalsmusset (an outdoor museum) on the other side of the river.
