We love this well-priced family buffet which is food freshly cooked, served buffet style. The fried chicken is very good and not greasy. Salad bar, several meat choices, pasta, southern style vegetables, desserts.
Where else can a couple eat for under $20? We once tried the "other" all-you-can-eat buffet across the highway but gave it a "thumbs down" for many reasons. Exit 88 heading south on I45 from our cabin.

Drinks & Nightlife
Right across the road (FM 1097) from us is the Pelicans Cove. You can walk but traffic is pretty heavy so don't walk home with too many drinks aboard.
The place is a bar and grill with live music on the porch most weekends and other events during the month. Music is too loud for us for plenty of others seemed to be enjoying it.
We love the patty melts with french fries (really good fries) which costs about $10-12 each. Warning: sometimes the service is very slow.
