A stunning, relaxed, patio view of boats coming in and out of the Buckhorn Locks is well worth the visit. The live music featured on certain days/nights not only provides tasteful entertainment but adds to the quality of the experience. The chef's menu includes all of the classics but also offers a creative variety of fresh, ethnic or vegetarian options, as well. I've tried almost everything, SUPER delicious.

Bobcaygeon has two grocery stores: Value Mart and Foodland. There is also a Foodland located in Buckhorn. Local honey, jams, fresh eggs and produce stands can be spotted through out the area.

Each place is unique, affordable and apart of the charm of Bobcaygeon's little downtown area. Everything is within walking distance of each other. Just a skip and a jump from the Bobcaygeon's Locks, local beach and park. This lovely town is always bustling, friendly and full of things to do. If you are looking for a hardware store, convenience stores or the LCBO, all can be found in both Bobcaygeon and Buckhorn, as well.

Rugged rolling landscape of small lakes, wetlands, forests and rocky barrens, great wildlife viewing opportunities and a large diversity of species. Spend a day, canoeing, kayaking, picnicing and enjoying the many walking trails. It's all here in one, breath taking, place.
