Great beach with beach bars where you can get a bed for the day, have great food cocktails, drinks etc. Maui beach is great fun. Loads of bars and restaurants to choose from. More upbeat and lively is a change is needed.. A lot of tourists. Very busy in Summer. A lot of British. I prefer the pace found in San Juan myself.

More upbeat and lively is a change is needed.. A lot of tourists. Very busy in Summer. A lot of British. I prefer the pace found in San Juan myself.
A good place to visit for a beach/tapas/drinks. The coastal road from Mojacar is a stunning route. Well worth the trip for the scenery to get there on its own

History/beauty/food. Amazing place. The Alhambra has to be booked way in advance as it is so popular. We went and stayed over night. need at least 2 nights if not more. Great for free tapas with drinks so no need to buy lunch !!

Great experience to see the second largest geode in the world. The one in Mexico is the largest but not accessible because of the humidity. The one in Jaravia, PULPI is cool. There are a lot of steps. Good footwear is a must.

A great market every Sunday. Not big but big enough. Our favourite one. We go there at about 12.30. Go through....getting fruit and vegetables at the end then finding a seat in the little square next to the market and enjoy a glass of wine / cerveza and some tapas.
