At the far end of the marina is this lovely church. Very interesting and informative, peaceful and thought provoking. Learn about the history of the smack boys, and history of seafaring Ramsgate, with models of boats inside. Smack boys used to lodge and live upstairs, along with ship wrecked sailors, who found rooms there to recover.

Learn about the history of the smack boys, and history of seafaring Ramsgate, with models of boats inside. Smack boys used to lodge and live upstairs, along with ship wrecked sailors, who found rooms there to recover.

With views of the French coast on a crisp clear day, our Royal Harbour is a gorgeous part of Ramsgate's history. Visit the many cafes and marine shops in the arches and walk all the way out too the lighthouse and the Harbour Brassiere on either arm of the Port.
