it is about 20 minutes to the south of Maple Creek but located in the beautiful Cypress Hills. the food is really good. my personal favorite is the crispy chicken wrap which is only available during the day and not the evening. There is so much to see and do in Cypress Hills..if you can't enjoy a walk - take a drive. it is beautiful no matter what you do. during the summer months you may have to call for reservations

This is honestly one of my favorite places. it is mostly only open during the summer months. It has a small sit down area inside and outside for eating. They always have lots of sweets for that yummy dessert- or skip the main meal and go right to the dessert. They have a nice selection of gifts for purchase , a lovely yard, and then there is the goat walk. you can feed the goats, donkeys, ducks etc. if you like yoga- you can sign up for goat yoga. this would get 5 stars from me
Grotto Gardens Country Market
21 Saskatchewan 1This is honestly one of my favorite places. it is mostly only open during the summer months. It has a small sit down area inside and outside for eating. They always have lots of sweets for that yummy dessert- or skip the main meal and go right to the dessert. They have a nice selection of gifts for purchase , a lovely yard, and then there is the goat walk. you can feed the goats, donkeys, ducks etc. if you like yoga- you can sign up for goat yoga. this would get 5 stars from me

Cypress hills really is a Jewel on the prairie. surrounded my rolling fields..this wonderful little place has great walks, beautiful views, look out point you can see for miles, if you love photography this is a FANTASTIC place to visit. a small man made lake where their is fishing, canoeing, paddle boating. Like a little more adventure? check out the zip lines in Cypress Hills..my daughter has been on it many times..i have no problem admitting that i am a coward when it comes to climbing ladders..so i haven't been on it. but it looks like a fantastic time.

like books? toys? candy? this is so the place for you. This place is amazing. competitive prices. a lot of toys that you won't find anywhere else. you like puzzles? a HUGE selection up stairs. They own a little book shop just down the street. a lot of local authors..my sister being one of them with the book 'Chinook and Winter' by Rhonda Hunter. The Candy is a small selection but a lot is brought in from England. and ask to see the HUGE Gummy snake..The man that owns the store (along with his family) is a very jovial fellow. have fun at this place

Fort Walsh is open in the summer months. It is an RCMP post, Before you go make sure you look it up. They often have tickets and a bus ride out to the trading post but it is very dependent on the weather. Fort Walsh is another beautiful setting. They have had the RCMP musical ride there. what a stunning view for this. make sure you take a drive around as there is also the conglomerate cliffs ( only in good weather are the roads passable) the ranger station camp grounds are a wonderful place to have a picnic with the creek running through it. good for people to go fishing for trout
