This is the restaurant that is part of Dubsdread Golf Course. It's nearby and we always sit outside on the covered verandah and appreciate the golf course views dotted with old oaks draped in Spanish Moss. Antsy kids can explore nearby and still be seen, the menu is varied -- something for everyone -- and always good. People love their brunch (especially for holidays).

It's nearby and we always sit outside on the covered verandah and appreciate the golf course views dotted with old oaks draped in Spanish Moss. Antsy kids can explore nearby and still be seen, the menu is varied -- something for everyone -- and always good. People love their brunch (especially for holidays).
Just YUM. I became a rib convert after trying theirs. Also love their butter chicken tacos. This place is always abuzz and it's not expensive, family friendly and just delicious.

Go here if you want some real Orlando atmosphere. Located on a lake. Reliably good food. Sit outside if you can. Worth the wait for an outside table. BEST place to go for sunset drinks. You can find little garden nooks that are private, set with Adirondack chairs and little tables, overlooking the lake. A little pricey but I've never regretted going.

You can rent canoes or kayaks and easily paddle a couple of miles to Wekiva Island where there's a food truck and bar, then turn around, return your boat, then go for a dip in the springs. Super fun. You almost always see alligators in the river and always gorgeous birds.

Also good selection of specialty food items (like imported pasta and coconut milk ice cream). I love the roasted chicken salad from the deli, which they make in house. Great for a picnic or easy lunch.
