The temple contains a Hindu and a Buddhist Shrine, and has lovely old paintings. It also has one of the most magical Peraheras (Buddhist Festival) in the area if you happen to come in September. And you are unlikely to see another tourist!

It is a mere half an hours walk from the house, and well worth visiting. Ladies must wear a long skirt and have their arms covered.
