See the curve of the planet while treating yourself to the best of N Z in a stylish designer house overlooking the Pacific ocean. Nestled among native trees, farmland and a landscaped kiwi styled backyard, is this quaint and charming home in a romantic location with a view that will take your breath away. If your looking to relax in comfort in an isolated setting surrounded by the sea and rolling hills then this place will be perfect for you.
Our unique stand alone studio is a small, historic, renovated school. The only close neighbours are us and we live in a repurposed sheep shearing shed. We are approximately 30 kilometres north of Dunedin (this depends on the route you take). The school and wool shed are surrounded by extensive gardens and the balance of our 4 hectares is in pasture and young plantings of native trees. There are panoramic views of the very picturesque coast line and out to sea. It is very peaceful and private.
Our house began in the 1860's as a fisherman's cottage built for the local lighthouse keeper. Over the years it has eclectically grown into a unique rambling retreat. We have a spectacular north-facing view of the ocean with all day sun, no matter the season. This creative space, filled with birdsong, is for couples, solo adventurers, families, artists, writers, photographers, outdoor lovers or anyone looking to re-charge in paradise.
