A praia do ouro, em Sesimbra, começa na fortaleza de praia, e prolonga-se para para o lado direito da baía (lado poente). A extensão é cerca de 1 km. A praia é limpa, e a água normalmente está parada. Temperatura habitual da água: verão =de 16 a 20 graus, outono= de 14 a 17 graus, Primavera = de 13 a 16 graus, Inverno= de 11 a 15 graus.

Sesimbra has beautiful city beaches with quiet water. The water is kids friendly. You will find a wide selection of restaurants. The castle is interesting to visit. Sesimbra is easy accessible and with lots of parking possibilities.

Although probably very packed during summer months, this is a great beach for families, with its calm sea and lots of restaurant options available in the village.
