The Carrières de Lumières is an immersive art experience that is beloved by all, young and old. Each year a different artist is featured--Cezanne, Van Gogh, Kandinsky, Picasso--and their work is projected onto the walls of the quarry with choreographed music. It requires a half hour and is the perfect complement to a visit to Les Baux de Provence. A great experience for all ages!

Unique setting in a huge cathedral like underground cavern-used to be where local stone was quarried. Each year has a different son et lumber exhibition with huge moving images of an artist or other theme eg Van Gogh, Picasso and Gauguin- once was Australia with Aboriginal art.
