Bar Albatross's Golden Gai location. Like their Omoide Yokocho location, this bar has one of the coolest interiors in the strip. Open Sun-Thur 8pm-5am, Fri-Sat 8pm-7am. Cover charge ¥300 (w/snacks).

There are about 200 tiny bars in such small area. It's architecturally interesting and artistic. Be a small group because there are no enough seats for many people.

Bar Albatross has two locations in Shinjuku. This one sits in the Omoide Yokocho (memory lane) strip in Shinjuku West Exit. The super tiny bar has 3 tiny separate floors. Open hours: 5:00pm-2:00am.

One of my favourite bars in Golden Gai! There is a hole in the ceiling of the 1F through which the bartender passes drinks to 2F customers. They also have a 3F rooftop area that is pretty neat too!
