Mount Dobson is a local favourite for skiing families. Affordably priced and just an hours drive away. Drive on a little further if you want to experience Roundhill Ski Field which is on the shores of Tekapo.

Best kept secret for superb skiing in the Mackenzie district - and the entrance to the skifield access road is just 10 minutes drive along SH8.

Ski and ride at Mt Dobson for natural dry powder snow, trails for all abilities and a huge learners area with all day sun and wide open uncrowded runs. A great balance of groomed trails and off piste for the more adventurous. There is a large area of developed trails and miles of fresh untracked snow.
