With perfectly prepped slopes and activities that fit everyone, the ski resort in Myrkdalen has been deemed one of the best that Norway has to offer. In the west coast of Norway’s biggest ski resort, you’ll find slopes for different skill levels, family friendly, freestyle parks, cross country and wonderful offpiste terrain. Myrkdalen is also one of the most snow sure ski resorts in the country and the season normally last from November through May. Myrkdalen is amongst the highest scoring ski resorts when it comes to snow fall measurements in Norway. The terrain around the resort is perfect for freeskiing, with easy access from the lifts to big areas fit for powder riding. In the winter you can hear shouts of joy and laughter from those cruising through the snow; powder days are plentiful in Myrkdalen! Whilst vacationing in Myrkdalen, you can also experience relaxing cross country or mountain skiing. As soon as the snow has fallen you can dive in to 30km of prepared slopes in Årmotslia, right across from the ski resort. The area is fit for training enthusiasts and families that want to play in the snow with skis on, drink hot chocolate and spend some quality time together.
