For those that like a hike, Pinnacle Mountain is 30 minutes west of Midtown. It is a 1,000ft peak that is moderate. Takes about 45 minutes to climb to the top. There is also a 3-mile base trail that goes around the entire base of the mountain. The Kingfisher trail is paved and an easy 20 minute walk along the Little Maumelle River. There are picnic tables, a large pavilion that can be reserved, and an awesome playground. Bring the kids!

One of the most visited spots in the Little Rock area! Gorgeous state park located just outside west Little Rock. You can take a hike up the mountain for impeccable views, walk around one of the many trails (such as the Kingfisher or Arboretum), test out the mountain biking trails, have a picnic, rent a kayak or just hang out in the green spaces!
