5 minutes drive An ancient sacred spring filling a stone pool with clear cold water. Very peaceful and atmospheric.

The well is a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage, turn left onto the main road and then right at the derelict mill, follow the track to a pond and walk up the hill from the pond to find the Well. The Well is an ancient spring whose name dates from the medieval period. Fabled to cure rheumatism and skin diseases, take a dip if you dare. The woods around the Well are beautiful for a walk and there are often rope swings and dens to play in.
