Need a shallow, warmer water spot for the kiddies? Or a nice calm spot to launch the SUP board and kayaks? Duck Lake State Park is an ideal Lake Michigan connection for small personal craft and even noodles. Pack a picnic!

Duck Lake Beach is a beautiful place to take in the sun, walk the dunes and relax while watching a beautiful sunset. There is free parking along the beach on the East side of the road and is also a short 15 minute ride from the Treehouse.

Beach, swimming, fishing, hiking. GREAT PARK! Duck Lake channel is nice for younger families for their is not much depth to the water, while Lake Michigan is also right there for older more experienced swimmers.

This park is located just 3 miles north of the cottage. A day use park great for boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, fishing, picnics, seasonal hunting, and kids (and parents) love it!! The Duck Lake shallow area near the bridge is great for skimboards, floaties, and sandcastles. It also has hiking trails, a designated boat launch, and a reservable private pavilion for gatherings.
