A great alternate of Din Tai Fung, considering its price and wait time. Dough Zone is such a darling of the area that there are now four locations on the Eastside and a fifth, with more modern styling, in Seattle’s International District. While dumpling and noodle quality has slipped due to centralization of the production process, this is still a decent place for all things doughy — including xiao long bao and the fried version, called Q-bao here — at fairly reasonable prices.
