Macdowell is a dam, with a childrens playground, a park, nice walking trails, and a gorgeous beach. The fall colors around the water are unforgettable.

What can't you do here? There are hiking trails, a swimming beach, picnicking and barbecuing; yet it tends to be empty and private.
