Small nature reserve with wading birds. There is a small path to the bird hide near the loch. You need to look well to see it. Onthe tight hand side when you go to Eoropie playpark, a bti before it

Red Necked Phalarope (May/Aug) White Tailed Eagle (Occasionally) Buzzard Peregrine (hunting) Merlin, Kestrel and Hen Harrier Whooper Swan (Sept/Oct - March) Lapwing, Dunlin, Snipe, Redshank and occasionally Long Tailed Duck Look out for flesh eating Sundew plants that grow in the wet marshy areas of the reserve Stunning cliffs and crashing waves Watch the sun setting while sitting on the cliffs - absolutely amazing Just a 5 minute walk from the cottage.
