They’re dog-friendly in case you want to bring your pup (an easy conversation-starter), have a cozy + comfortable vibe with lots of plants and light so you feel at ease, often host food trucks, and transition into serving beer in the evenings in case things go well and you want to stick around.

“3 words. Pizza. Salad. Ice cream. Sidewall has fresh, delicious pizza, seasonal ice creams, and delicious salads. Their crust is delicious, with great sauce, and good toppings. Bacon lovers, look out, they have a pizza with strips upon strips of bacon on it! They have multiple locations, one near downtown and one in Traveler’s Rest.”

Cafeteria
“Methodical is always bustling with people, plays sweet tunes all day on their record player, and offers the perfect people-watching view of ONE City Plaza. It’s the classic cozy coffee shop for spending a few hours on work or just catching up on your reading, and basically sounds like calming coffee shop white noise. ”

“Let’s start with the obvious. If you live anywhere in the Upstate, Pita House is the GO TO for the freshest, most consistent Middle Eastern food. Every morning the Namouz family bakes 1000+ fresh pitas, meticulously moving onto prepping all of their salads, spreads and other delicacies such as grape leaves and yellow squash stuffed with rice. It’s naturally vegetarian and vegan friendly, cash only and a staple we couldn’t live without.”
