Recently opened National Museum is located right in front of the Sultan's Palace, and is a good starting point for your Omani holiday. Explore the regions history from million-year-old stone tools (found by my husband!!!) to ancient rock tombs, to the traditional Omani boats said to have been sailed by the legendary Sinbad himself.
