Great croissants and sandwiches. Enjoy eating there or grab and go. The lines can be long. Ordering ahead and picking up saves time.

These are some of the best laminated pastries in America. Bold statement, but true. My personal favorite is the apricot pinwheel where a half apricot sits on top of patisserie cream. If you're a savory pastry type of person, you can't go wrong with their spinach and feta croissant. They do pizza and sandwiches during lunch and you won't find a better cherry pie on the peninsula. This place has a cult following for a reason. Secret tip: Fresh Coast Market (on the way to Traverse City) carries their pastries and bread daily.

best bakery around these parts. almond croissants to die for. get there early for day old bread loaves. also just expanded with outdoor seating and wood fired pizza oven.
