A magic place where the lake landscape leaves space to a mountain environment. It was in this valley where the paper production was established during the early 1900. Just take a relaxing walk in this beautiful valley accompanied by the Maderno river surrounded by the nature.

Valle delle Cartiere, in Toscolano Maderno, is a unique museum that merges culture, nature, sport and history. A historical naturalistic route from the center of Toscolano up into the hills, perfect for all, on foot, by mtb, for sport, or relaxation, the entrance to the Valley is free and you will also find the Museum of paper and a pretty bar to enjoy a real italian coffee, after your walk through history. Every path has an explanation in Italian, English and German.
