Connects auto traffic between the county seats of Richmond in Madison Co & Nicholasville in Jessamine Co. Founded in 1780, predating Kentucky's admission to the Union in 1792. Widely regarded as the commonwealth's oldest continually operating business

Oldest continuously running ferry operation since 1785 in Kentucky. Provides access across river between Jessamine/Fayette and Madison counties. Picnic area provided near river's edge. Directions: KY 169 at the Kentucky River. Kids love it and best thing is it is free!!!
