Bomas of Kenya is a tourist village in Langata, Nairobi that displays traditional villages belonging to the several Kenyan tribes. Bomas of Kenya is home to one of largest auditorium in Africa and is located approximately 10km from the Central Business District. The talented resident artists at this cultural centre perform traditional dances and songs taken from the country’s various tribal groups, including Arabic-influenced Swahili taarab music, Kalenjin warrior dances, Embu drumming and Kikuyu circumcision ceremonies, convenient for a spectacular afternoon out. The complex consists of a number of bomas (villages), each constructed in the architectural style of Kenya's major ethnic groups.

Visit Bomas and get a glimpse into (old) Kenyan traditional singing and dancing. Check the show time before you visit. Also conserved here are (old) Kenyan traditional huts and homesteads. There are unfortunately no guided tours; descriptions are however provided.

If you are looking for a culinary experience through Eritrea, while enjoying our accomodation I absolutely recommend this spot. if you aren't in the mood for Eritrian food they also have some of the best wood-oven-cooked pizza this side of Nairobi. - Establishment“Karen Blixen Museum was formerly home to the author Karen Blixen, who wrote Out of Africa, before it was gifted to the Kenyan government by the Danish. Situated at the foothills of Ngong Hills, the museum is now a must visit as you travel to Nairobi. A tour to the Karen Blixen Museum is characterised by going through the life plus possesions of Karen and her family and thereafter getting souverniors from the home. Karen Blixen Museum is also a perfect place for photoshootsn and garden weddings.”
