Visiting Castel San Pietro is a must do when visiting Verona. From here you can see the city from above and admire the breathtaking view. To get on top of the hill you can either walk up 100 steps or take the lift, which costs about €2. I recommend to watch the sunset from up here.

It is a charming terrace where you can enjoy a breathtaking sight of the old town from the top of the hill. You arrive there by car, walking up the steps from the entrance of the Roman Theatre near the Ponte Pietra, or take the new funicular lift. This is a romantic place to visit at night
