Pieces New York

Friendly, familiar, and comfortable, Pieces is the gay Cheers. This longtime West Village staple is a little bit of a dive—but that’s what I love about it. Like nearly everyone else, they host drag shows. But here you can also get cheap drinks and shots as you enjoy the performance in an absolutely unpretentious atmosphere. A great night to check out is Wednesday, when the show is Broadway themed and the drag queens sing showtunes. The host, Delighted Tobehere, was on America’s Got Talent.
