The best thing about this restaurant is that you can walk to it. At the corner of our street & State Rd/Hwy 33, Schmidty's is a favorite among locals. Even if you don't go to eat, you could walk there for a beverage to experience a neighborhood Wisconsin tavern. Neighbors & friends gather here & everyone is always very welcoming. This is Wisconsin! Order a local beer, Pearl Street Brewery, or try an Old Fashion sweet. The restaurant features typical Wisconsin food- nothing too spicy or exciting (imo). Good size salad bar and Friday night fish fry are popular. They also have a nice outdoor patio. Open for lunch and dinner everyday. Sunday brunch. Look for their to-go menu in the cottage.
