This is a nice out-and-back trail. Kid- friendly! We’ve pushed a small stroller here before. Views are breathtaking at the top!

A great quick hike around one of the most beautiful places northern Michigan offers us. Bask in the beauty of the greatness of the lakes.

Walk this trail and you will see a sight that you've seen before in travel brochures, award sites and travel ads. A must-see.

Wilco Rd, Honor, MI, 49640. Experience this moderately challenging 1.5-mile out-and-back trail near Empire, Michigan. The trail goes through a beech-maple forest, open fields, and dunes and leads to a high bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and snowshoeing, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The National Lakeshore charges a visitor fee of $20 per vehicle for a seven day pass or $40 for an annual pass. Mountain bikes are not allowed on any of the National Park trails. Pets must be kept on a six-foot maximum leash.
