Here is the Muslim Fisherman Village where you can find a live and fresh daily seafood catch of the day and local Thai fresh market. Also, Tesco Lotus, 7-11 and pharmacy are just at the same spot.

THE MUSLIM VILLAGE Located in Hua Thanon, this small fishing village was formed more than 120 years ago by a Muslim community, coming from Malaysia, and having immigrated to the island. To date, there are 800 people, living fishing thanks to a flotilla, consisting of many boats "Longtails" shimmering color. The product of this fishery is destined almost exclusively for local consumption, which is also found on the market stalls of the village. A mosque stands in the heart of this amazing place, where time seems to have stopped.

Not far from the statue of Guan Yu there is a Muslim fishing village. At the start of the village there is a local market. I recommend walking around the whole village. Hua Thanon commence juste après Lamai. C'est un village de pêcheurs et un village musulman. Il règne une atmosphère charmante, c'est l'attraction principale des bateaux de pêche en bois élégamment peints qui sont utilisés quotidiennement par les pêcheurs pour attraper et livrer du poisson directement sur les marchés locaux. A 6,4 km de la villa ( 11 minutes en scooter) Hua Thanon begins just after Lamai. It is a fishing village and a Muslim village. There is a charming atmosphere, the main attraction of the elegantly painted wooden fishing boats that are used daily by fishermen to catch and deliver fish directly to local markets.
