Crissy Field in San Francisco has a beach and trail along SF's northern waterfront. You can spend some time relaxing on the beach, biking, running, a must-see place when you are in the city

Park at Crissy Field picnic area off of Mason St and walk down towards Fort Point for a nice walk along the bay. You'll end up right underneath the southern span of the Golden Gate Bridge. Crissy Field is also close to the Marina District and other points of interest, such as the Presidio, Palace of Fine Arts, Fort Mason, and of course the Golden Gate Bridge.

A beautiful park along the Bay with great views of Golden Gate Bridge. You can park near the bridge and get close for a wonderful perspective of this iconic and impressive structure.

Gorgeous historical area. There's park land, beaches, Fort Point, a climbing wall, trampoline house, great visitor's center and beautiful views. Crissy Field Beach has very gentle waves so it's safer to go in the water. Do stay with your kids, though, there are drops beneath the water. We've spent many memorable days here and it's one of our favorite spots in the City.
