Beautiful house and gardens (admission charges apply), and deer park (free to enter). Great for a day out with the family. Take the children to the adventure playground. The park plays host to about 300 fallow deer. The herd has been in the park for more than 300 years.

Belton is often cited as being the perfect example of an English country-house estate. Owned by the National Trust it has lovely grounds and walks and is just outside Grantham.

Parque
“A 400-year-old, 12 acre garden set in the heart of Lincolnshire. Easton Hall, the original house, was demolished in 1951 and the 400 year old garden was abandoned and fell into total disrepair. Since 2001, Ursula and Fred Cholmeley have restored this ancient garden from an overgrown wilderness to the nationally important garden it once was. ”

“If you're visiting and like great food, you must visit The Olive Branch. Book early to avoid disappointment. Also available for breakfast, but again, this must be booked directly with The Olive Branch in advance.”

Bar
“The George of Stamford was - and still is - one of England's greatest coaching inns. The George has distinctive style and ambience that make it truly unique. The Oak Panelled Restaurant, roaring log fires, The Garden Room Restaurant, afternoon teas, the courtyard, bars and lounges all have justifiable fame and popularity.”
