Myrtle Beach is the hub of the Grand Strand, a 60-mile string of beaches. It’s also known for its celebrity-designed golf courses. Along its beachfront boardwalk are arcades, souvenir stands and restaurants, as well as the old-fashioned Family Kingdom amusement park and the SkyWheel, one of the country’s tallest Ferris wheels.

Myrtle Beach is a 40-minute drive from here. It is one of the top 10 beaches in the U.S. Enjoy a walk on the beach, ice cream, thrill rides, shopping, Broadway shows, and several restaurants.

Myrtle Beach is a little over an hours ride down Highway 17. With outlet shopping, Broadway at the Beach, the Carolina Opry, the Alabama Theatre and more eating venues than I could ever list, this could make a great day trip.

You will never get bored in Myrtle Beach! 60 miles of uninterrupted beachfront is enough to keep anyone busy. But Myrtle Beach also offers a lot of other fun things to do like mini-golf, amusement parks, drinking, dining, shopping, and more. We are located 10 miles south of the boardwalk and promenade.
