The wheatsheaf pub is just minutes away, located at 1866 Cedar road. The wheatsheaf has the oldest original license pub in BC. Dating back to 1866. This local watering hole is famous for delicious homemade pizza and pirogies as well as its eclectic decor and traditions of local brides coming through the front doors stepping up onto a table and kissing the mounted moose for “luck”. The “local” car enthusiast group like to stop in on Friday’s filling the parking lot with eye catching classic vehicles. On Saturday’s you can catch local live music from 2pm-6pm including their own 2 man Wheaty band on the first Saturday of the month. Attached to the pub is a local beer and wine with an amazing selection of wines. As well as knowledgeable staff to help you make a selection. Don’t miss this local gem.
