A 6 1/2 miles real Florida hike . The trail is very well built with lots of boardwalk sections. Every stream crossing had a bridge. Meet tortoises and armadillo and numerous (small) lizards. About 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 hours at a leisurely pace. It is also a great place for Canoe Outpost.

Little Manatee River State Park is a 2,433-acre Florida State Park located 5 miles south of Sun City, off U.S. Route 301 on Lightfoot Road and along the Little Manatee River. Activities include kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and horseback riding, as well as camping, walking, hiking, and wildlife viewing
