The George is directly opposite The Old Chapel. It mainly caters for families and is dog friendly. Their is a roaring coal fire when it's colder and a basic menu which you would associate with a busy pub. Booking isn't necessary.

A local favourite for its roast dinners on a Sunday. Indoor restaurant and outdoor seating weather permitting. The beers are not bad either!
