The pedestrian walkway spans 3 blocks with numerous stores, many touristy related, outside eating areas with some fountains here and there. If your first time in Mendoza definitely do it as its great for orientation. Many of the cross streets such as 9 de Julio and San Martin have stores the locals are more likely to use

probably the most entertaining thing to do in Mendoza is people watch seated from a coffee shop in Peatonal Sarmiento. Its a very popular place where people meet friends top enjoy a cup of coffee.

Es la principal y mas antigua Peatonal de la Ciudad de Mendoza. Comienza en el KM 0 de la ciudad, (Av. San Martin y Garibaldi) y termina en la conocica Plaza Independencia. Un lugar emplematico, de gran afluencia de gente, estudiantes, y turistas.
