Originally a 19th century fort, and later a British Army base, Ebrington Barracks was demilitarised in 2003.

Formerly a British military barracks for over 200 years, the site is still in the process of being regenerated as a public square, with cafes, bars, a bakery & restaurants, offering spectacular views of the River Foyle, old city walls and the Peace Bridge.
