You can get to this park just by heading straight down Legion Way SE until it ends. There is a flat trail (approximately 1.5 miles) around the lake and another trail that leads straight up to the Capitol building.

Just located behind our building, Heritage Park is a great place to relax, run or just people watch. I find it rather peaceful to sit by the waters edge and do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
