The biggest attraction is the boardwalk/amusement park created in 1911. Drive along the coast for some beautiful vistas, a walk through Natural Bridges State Beach, downtown for vintage clothing stores and cafes.

Incredible weather, laid-back and artsy culture, gorgeous hikes that traverse through woods and beach simultaneously, microbreweries galore, live concerts, SC Beach Boardwalk (setting for Jordan Peele's thriller "Us"), home to UC Santa Cruz, and cute little downtown.

The Santa Cruz Boardwalk & Amusement Park, Hiking, biking, skateboarding. Hike or bike at Wilder Ranch State Park along rugged cliffside trails & beautiful panoramic views of the ocean.

30-40 mins drive to ocean. Enjoy your day around Santa cruz, beaches, trails, good food, kayaking, and myriad of activities. We hit santa cruz atleast once a month, we thoroughly enjoy our drive as well as our time up there. On our way back, we wine and dine in Los Gatos downtown, and come back home to hit the sack :)
