Por que os moradores locais recomendam?
This great independent bookstore almost went of out business, but a bunch of like-minded people joined forces to save it and transform it into a co-op. Their new location on 24th Street carries both new and old books, and their art gallery programming, with a focus on local artists, has always been really well respected in the city. They don’t have any set agenda with their art on display, and just like any gallery, they try to mix it up to keep it interesting. Check the events calendar on their website to see what’s up.

Loja de bicicleta
“Our shop is a don’t-miss for any serious bike commuter; we sell only gear for urban cyclists. In the back, there’s a magic wall where we design each Mission bike with our customers—no two are the same! Imagine picking every part and choosing from 250 colors. We also have beautifully designed T-shirts, books, and gifts. It’s no secret that we rent bikes for $40. The secret is that, on request, you can keep them overnight for a second full day at no extra charge. Two days for the price of one. Here’s another: factory tours on demand. Just ask and you’ll get to see Mission Bicycles being built before your eyes.”
