One of Queensland's most important heritage buildings, Old Government House was the original seat of power and social hub of colonial Queensland, and the official residence of the Governors of Queensland up until 1910. Now over 150-years-old, the original sandstone façade is complemented by a thoughtfully-restored classic interior, while surrounding lawns add a distinctive charm and serenity to the grand old building.

You can now tour Queensland’s first public and heritage listed building, Old Government House, and enjoy the restored grandeur of 1860 architecture. There’s often art exhibitions at the William Robinson Gallery within.
