State Street connects the Wisconsin State Capitol to the University of Wisconsin. Great for outdoor dining, shopping, coffee, strolling, drinking, people watching and getting a feel for the Madison vibe. Great street musicians and entertainers.

Walk down the famous State Street and shop where you want. Only bikes and buses are allowed to commute this street. There are a number of coffee shops and eateries along the way.

State Street! While it has changed over the past 15 years it still remains the life blood of Madison. Where campus meets the Capitol. Politically charged, entertainment, shopping and restaurants! Weekends can be busy, with the farmers market, live music events, shows, and random protests, it's never a dull day on State Street.
