Charters is a pub on a barge on the river, with real ales, a large beer garden and sometimes music and events in the garden. In the summer they have 'Summer Sundays' with events every Sunday.
Unusual pub on a boat on the river. Real ales served. Good music, often has live bands. Thai restaurant upstairs on the same boat.

Discovered by Francis Pryor in 1982, the remains of a prehistoric causeway can be seen by visitors. “Loads of two for one cocktail deals which are nearly always on and caribbean food too. Gets full of 'kids' at the weekends but if you get a table outside or away from the bar you can still get some peace!”
